All products have model specific washing - and care instructions that must be followed.
Proper care helps maintain the quality and longevity of the product
Regular washing of the product helps to prevent grime and unwanted smell. Separate the clothes by colour, empty all pockets and remove all loose reflectors and other materials that are not recommended to wash (eg. hood's faux fur). Wash delicate and vulnerable materials and heavy outdoor clothes separately.
Close all zippers and velcro tapes before washing. The velcro tape can damage delicate materials, such as an Active Dry shirt.
Avoid using too much detergent and stuffing the washing machine too full.
If there is a mention on the product's washing tag to "Wash separately", please follow the instructions. The product may colour and stain other products in the washing machine.
Do not leave wet products in the washing machine. Dry them after the washing cycle as quickly as possible. Tumble dry the product if the product's washing instructions permits it.
We dont' recommend to use fabric softeners on our products, since it can affect the product's functionality.
To Active Dry fabric, such as t-shirts, we recommend a quick rinse after every sweaty use. If there is an unpleasant smell in the fabric after washing it, you can try and neutralize the smell by adding a dash of vinegar to large amount of water (rinse it in the mixture, do not soak it). Wash it according to the product's washing instructions after this.
The water- and dirtrepellency added to the DrymaxX fabric can wear off after a while. You can restore the fabric's qualities by saturating the product with a suitable substance. Always apply the substance to a clean product, with no visible dirt. Follow the substance's instructions for proper use.
